I am looking for a complete functioning Five Speed Shifter Assembly to install my Getrag 260. I need something like this

I need the complete assembly, does not need to be exactly like this but a proper fit for instillation.

I have listed in my for sale threads a number items I would be willing to trade, check them out and suggest a combination you would be interested in. Shipping cost could be worked out, i am willing to ship to you. I have a lot of parts left on my 1981 318i still unpulled, even a perfect dash pad.

I am even willing to trade the complete M10 engine if you are close enough to come pull it yourself.

Early model or late model shifter? Which one is yours, I have an early model one.

My car is a 1988 325is, so I assume late model. But my I am using, 260 getrag is from an 1984-1985 model. I did not know there was great difference other than the pan the shifter is mounted in, or is there more?
