I've got one and it seems to be a good one. I was saving it for my own car, but I'm swaping in the Z-F CR trans and now I need something higher like a 3.73. Or a 3.91 if I can find one.

There is a little play, but there should be. The lube was drained from it over a year ago and without the cushion of lube there will be a slight amount of play. Yes, the pinion seems to turn OK, but again it's dry inside. No noise, but it's sitting on my work bench and I didn't drive the car it came out of.

I've been saving this diff for over a year for myself and I think it's a good one. It's also very clean, had the rear cover resealed, the stub axle seals replaced, and is ready to install as soon as you fill it with Red Line gear lube.
