WTB: complete M42 swap for my M10 318i, PNW

The cost of repairing my M10 after a head gasket failure is, let's face it, rediculous. It has just over 148k now and I'd like to find an M42 with similar mileage (+/-)

If the M42 won't bolt up to my transmission I'll gladly spring for the correct M42 gearbox.

    ;)

im about to yank a complete M42 drivetrain, with 68k miles from my 92 vert, in favor of an M30

      im in portland...

sounds like i may have what you're after. ;)

lemme know if you'd like to come and make a day of checking out the engine while its still in the car, driving it, etc, and then getting it all pulled out. it is VERY clean, runs like a top, and just had all of the service type stuff done.

looking to get around 1500, give or take, from fan to diff.
i havent checked to see what type of diff is in the car, but if it's an LSD, then the price will be slightly higher.
