    Rear Subframe, NYC

I'm working with Precision Shaft Technologies (www.pstds.com) to develop a bolt-in driveshaft upgrade for E30's. We have been going back and forth with measurements, parts shipments for test fitting, and pictures for a couple of months. They're down in Florida and I'm up here in NYC. I'm just a turbo guy, not a shop or anything, just looking to get some R&D done for our chassis of choice.

To speed things up and get this DS out and available to the E30 community, I need a rear subframe to cut up and send down to PST so they can use it as a jig for fitting the biggest shaft and U-Joint we can get away with.

Anyone got one for cheap in the NYC area?

I'm gonna be pulling one from my parts car this weekend. I'll sell it to you super cheap since I'll need to ship it.

it will probably be cheaper to send it direct to PST if it's coming from MD.

Thanks guys, like bmws50b30 said, it would definitely easiest to ship straight to PST for the subframes outside of NY. Can any of you chop up the subframe and ship it down? A Sawzall or cutting torch would do the trick.

I have a spare diff that I'm going to ship down. I'll probably take the pumpkin out since it just adds weight and they're not going to need it. I could even try and cut off the back half of diff, but that's probably not worth it.

Looking towards the rear of the car from immediately behind the transmission output flange. This shows the position of the diff input flange with respect to the rear subframe tunnel opening.

This is as much as the 1310 U-Joint can rotate in the clockwise direction before contacting the subframe tunnel.

If anyone can cut and ship a subframe, I'll pay the same as if I picked it up myself, plus extra for the additional effort.
