    I have a Alpine MRP-F240 amp
    40 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms
    50 watts RMS x 4 at 2 ohms
100 watts RMS x 2 bridged output at 4 ohms
    2-, 3-, or 4-channel output
    Mosfet circuitry

Don't have original packaging but do have hook-up and settings sheet.

Not a bad amp, fixed your link http://www.crutchfield.com/p_500MRPF...-MRP-F240.html

It has a crossover but it's fixed at 80hz, which is usually a good point to high pass the 5-6" speakers. But, since it's fixed if ever want to try different settings you'll have to use your head units crossover (if it's got one) or get an active crossover to install after the headunit/before the amp.

For $50 this is a good deal though.

That is exactly the same amp JParker has running the system in his car. He needed to find a fold down seat because the bass was eaten up by the foam seat he had, but that little bitch has some decent power for being the tiny piece of shit that it is!

SQ is decent, but I was dissapointed about the 80Hz fixed crossover, but either an outboard crossover or a deck with higher settings for high pass would be an easy fix.

Guys who want a starter amp, as in something to run the fronts and a sub would do well with this amp, then add a bigger sub amp later...100 watts RMS isn't gonna kill anyone with power, but it is adequate.

Make damn sure that you get a single voice coil 4 ohm woofer, though. You need every bit of power this thing makes, and it needs to see a 4 ohm mono load on bass, no matter what!

Oh yeah, Aaron, if you are gonna run your Kenwood on bass, this will be a decent mid/high amp. It really won't keep up with your bass, but it should do far better than deck power, plus you will have some level of "tunability"

$50 is a damn good deal on it, too.
