      I have a 55-200VR i'll sell you. it's about 1.5 years old.

no way you'll get a 18-200 for 150! that would be awsome though!

hey you never know what some people want to get rid of.

ok, the 55-200 sounds good, but what are all the extra numbers and letters after the 55-200? I need to make sure the autofocus will work with the D40x, as it does not have a focus motor within the body, and the motor must be in the lens.

i just consulted my friend and he suggest that I at least get an 18-55 first, so for now Eric I'm going to have to hold off on the 55-200, but may be interested at a future date.

You could get a 50mm prime. Good starting lens, good quality as well.

Im actually looking for one myself

ill probably get one of those eventually. unfortunately i lose autofocus abilities with that lens with the particular body i got.

once i have a ton of money, i plan on being a lens whore as well as a wheel whore.
