Digital Converter Box

New Digitalstream Digital Converter box. Unit was tested for about 5 minutes after being taken out of the box. It works great I just decided to go with cable and no longer have a need for the unit. What is the TV reception like (non cable) with the digital conversion box? Is it similar to the old "Rabbit ears"?

The box still needs to be connected to an antenna, an HD antenna if you want HD reception. The picture is great because you basically have signal or no signal instead of static. It's best to hook one of these up to a big roof antenna but they work fine on small indoor antennas.

Yes it has both Coaxial out and Composite out so as long as your TV has one of those connections it will work. You will also need an antenna to pick up signal, preferably an HD antenna. You can pick one up from Radioshack for like $20-$50 depending on what you need. Older antennas will work though they might have a harder time picking up the signal. With digital it's all or nothing, pictures don't have static they just don't show up if you don't have a decent signal.
