Snap-on (Standard) combo wrenches, flank drive PLUS

bought a huge lot of snap on tools to get the metric goodies, now i have a large set of high quality standard wrenches which i will utilize to their full potential. its a crime to leave them sit in a box, is it not? also 1 1/4", what am i working on a train?

someone here works on domestics, right? everyone knows these are the best American tools made.

    Manufacturer: Snap-on
    Tool type: Combination Wrenches
    Tool design: Flank drive PLUS
    Sizes: (14 total) 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16, 3/4, 13/16, 7/8, 15/16, 1, 1 1/6, 1 1/8, 1 1/4
    Part numbers: SOEX12 - SOEX40
    Original retail value: $0.0007 million
Condition: NEVER USED. only teeny tiny nicks from being handled, and finger prints from me holding them admiring their glory.

Disclaimer: i assume no responsibility for you getting the urge to dissemble the Statue of Liberty and re-erect it on your front lawn while sing 'Born in the USA' because these tools are so awesome.

Price: $400 + shipping. Paypal or cash in hand.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

also, i have a few of the larger sizes (1 1/4, 1 1/8, 1, etc) in the regular flank drive that i will sell as separate pieces. inquire if you are interested.

Respond and say you are sorry for his hearing disability, but that doesnt mean he has to be completely retarded.

Why are these worth so much

I promise I am not trying to crap on your thread.

But, can anyone tell me what can make a set of wrenches worth so much?
I admit that I have never used Snap-on tools before.
I just cannot imagine what makes them worth it.

          Can anyone share their experience?

if you've never used them then you wont understand. On top of the quality of the product as well as the warranty.
            Need Custom spacers and adapters?

            PM for information

like rob said, they are above and beyond in materials/workmanship. there are other tools that come close, but for someone that needs to have reliable tools that will last a life time, these are regarded as the best. i bought the metric ones so that i never have to buy them again, ever.

Snap-on tools are so far above and beyond in quality and craftsmanship that you can identify them easily in a pile of assorted tools.

Someone threw out a few hundred pounds of assorted sockets, wrenches and extentions. I sorted through them very easily and found all the snap-on pieces I could just because of quality of design.

The only reason I own other brands of tools is out of immediate necessity. Snap-on is my brand of choice. Good luck with the sale here! Might try ebay?

Sell them to an aircraft mechanic, 12 point is aviation versus 6 point for automotive.

thanks, but it appears not. you have to place a classified ad in there print issue to get one online as well. $$

Tools are like this: you get what you pay for.

Craftsman is now made by a chinese joint. gone to crap. dont even warranty anymore.

Snap-on has a great warranty. if you get anything to the point where its unclean able, or permanently damaged, they can swap it on the spot, no issues.

If you don't work with tools the best I can explain is the feel of cashmere vs acrylic . No matter how old if taken care of properly they gleam like new.
