Guys, for a few years now, Pro-ject has had a terrific starter table for either those thinking about returning to the analogue fold or just wanna see what all the fuss is about, called "The Genie" in Europe, but will be called the RM 1.3 here:

Anyone interested in setting up a group buy? They also have a couple of models down from here that are still pretty damn impressive, and of course, many steps up.

What do you guys think? Anyone interested in setting up a group buy? The rep will already sell to me at about 5% over cost for onesie-twosies, but I have no clue how he would react to an oder for 5 or 6.

Really nice unit. Does not look ready for DJ spec, but I'd bet an audiophile would enjoy this hooked up to 7.1 sound.

I'm going to stick with the Pearl for now and weigh options later. I've got a Bellari VP-130, which I hope matches alright with that combo.

How about a mid 80's integrated HK, with an absolutely golden MM stage that has pre-outs?

I am seriously thinking about trying to swing the RM6. I generally love MC, but don't have much experience with any of the HOMCs except the old Dynavector.

When we move from this tiny hovel, I am gonna do tubes, I swear to fuck.
