I wrecked it when I was 13; it sat in pieces in my parents' shed for 20 years, now I've got it about 95% complete.

Not much out there about F1 BMX, I've only learned bits and pieces about it over the years. Didn't know anything about it when I was 11 and got this one either, I just thought it was the coolest bike I had ever seen at the time.

Looks like the Haro uses the same handlebars and running gear. Does that have a back brake? The Diamond Back used a compact roller rear brake, Shimano calls it Nexus these days.

There was a guy on one of the BMX forums a few years ago that was trying to collect an F1 bike from each of the manufacturers. I know Schwinn made one, and I think Hutch and Redline were the others. Dunno if he ever got them or not.

They're all rare. The F1 thing never took off. Bad timing, mountain bikes were starting to get popular and that pretty much killed it. Sorry to thread jack, I'm just stoked to see another F1 BMX bike. Bad ass bike collection you got there, hope that Dart sells quick so I don't have to buy it, lol. GLWS
