Lets see...one of my boxes: $200, shipped
Terrific woofer that will work perfectly with this amp: $34 plus shipping, so figure $55
3 pair of Premium RCAs from Monoprice.com $20 or so, shipped
10 feet of 4ga wire and an AGU fuse and fuseholder
1 pair of Infinity Reference (or whatever, LOTS of choices) components: $100
A st of inexpensive co-ax for the rear: $50
Deck: between $130 to (sky is the limit) $200
all of a sudden, you are way under $1K and those pieces with this amp would absolutely kick ass. Your car would sound like you spent $2500 at your local shop.

Correct. That amp wants to see a 2 ohm load, thus you would want a DVC woofer with 4 ohms/coil.
A single 10" woofer in one of my boxes makes an amazing bass: clean, clear, detailed, top notch stuff. Far better quality than you expect to hear in a car.
If you listen to rap on a frequent basis (like 85% of your music is rap) you may want to go to a 12", because the bottom end is bigger, and is is quite a bit louder.
Personally, I have a single 10 with 140 watts running it in the wifes E30, it gets plenty low, plenty loud, and that is with half the power that Kicker amp has.
However, if you want gigantic "GhettoBOOM" with all the shitty rattles and a big ass box flopping around in your trunk, you might want to get a pair of 12's or whatever...I don't do that kind of thing. Tight, clean, articulate, musical and fun, that is my goal.
That and keeping your trunk open for living life that is.
Luke

Ross Sullivan, you have several emails in your inbox - can you please answer them
Wes, I have several pairs of shoes available as well. You will find one of them up your ass if you ever post crap not directly related to the sale of an item in the FS section again.
Are we clear?
Your issues are NOT any issue of the OPs here. I am doing my best to help this guy sell this amp. He already has enough pain, as he is losing his ass...not just $65 on a pair of fucking shoes, got it?
If you have further questions I can introduce you to my friend, Mr. Ban Hammer.

about fucking time someone tells this guy to stfu....
and none better to do it.
wish i had no engine worries and could invest in my stereo equipment. glws OP!
its rated at 700watts, but kicker has said it will put out over 900 watts total, somewhere around 980 actually. It also being a 5 channel you can amplify your main speakers as well. (I was planning on bridging the 4 channels into my front speakers so they would receive more power and leave my back speakers un-amp'd. Most of the sound comes from the fronts anyways, and the backs reflect off glass so it would probably kill whoever is in your backseat if they were amp'd.)
This amp will not turn your car into a rattle can either, assuming you don't have any loose pieces on your vehicle haha. My current setup rattles the shit out of my trunk and I need to dynamat it.
Luke, awesome responses on both accounts especially on your break down on parts (I even saved it in Word)...Unfortunatly my funds are tied up in painting a bumper and fender right now but I'll see what I can do.
