    WTB: DSLR Camera and/or semi-manual P&S

    My old camera spontaneously died after the last time its batteries died and now I have nothing. I really need a camera of some sort, but I also want an SLR because recently that camera hadn't been cutting it. Ideally, I need something very portable as well as something that takes quite good pictures.

    I do not want to spend too much on the SLR, and I don't mind something 5 years old as long as it still works and didn't suck in the day. It can be just an SLR body, lenses or none.

    I have lots of parts for trade but cash would be fine too if it's in my budget. Let me know what you have!

        what is your budget? you'll have a tough time finding a dSLR with a lens for under $400 or so.

          Naw, I know I can get a decent entry level dSLR with at least one lens and all original accessories on ebay for under 300 shipped. Nikon D60, Canon Rebel XT, and Sony dslr-a100/a230 both fit are all in my range.

            then buy on ebay, because you aren't going to find any of those prices through craigslist or r3v unless someone is being ultra generous.

              Well, I was really hoping somebody would trade for parts. I ended up getting one on ebay though. Hoping it'll arrive some time soon.

                Correct me if I'm wrong but, I strongly believe that you're looking into buying a refurb, judging by the two prices listed above.

                A camera that sells from 250-300 bux is not going to be in the best condition. In the camera world you truly get what you pay for.
