    (SOLD) FS: 2002 Suzuki 600 GSX-R

7200 miles. In great shape and runs great, as it was tuned-up this past summer. Another season or two left on the tires. Since I purchased it, I've removed the reflectors off of the wheels and added frame sliders and a tank pad. Bike has never been dropped since I purchased it. Paint is in great shape, with only some minor scratches on the left side of the plastics, near the tank, from the previous owner. Has an aftermarket rear cowl with integrated tails.

I will also throw in a decent bike cover...has some holes/rips from the previous owner, but does a good job of keeping dust/dirt off the bike while in storage.

Bike was purchased with a re-upholstered front and rear seat. I purchased a new driver seat, as I did not like the re-upholstered one from the previous owner. Both front seats and the passenger seat are included.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Title is in hand! NO TRADES!!!!!!!!!!! Don't waste your time or mine asking for trades. No low ballers, please. Asking $4400, but reasonable offers will be considered.

    Thanks!

Gotta love people who waste time for others. You've sold 08's for that price, well then whose fault was that?!

Some new shots of the bike:

Unfortunately he's right, the bike market is not moving as well as it once was. I just sold an 06 600rr with repsol fairings for $3300.

And I'm not ripping on your bike, but gixxers are a dime a dozen, and the pre 05 bikes are barely selling for more than $2800 around here. Mods are nice, but they don't add much to the overall value of the bike..

I for one, think the bike is nice. I am in the market for a Ninja 250 for commuting, but I hope you sell it.

The bike has obviously been down on its left side. Whether it was dropped or laid down and repaired. The end of the clutch lever is broken off and that rash next to the tank on the left side is pretty noticeable.

Not saying its a bad bike, just a bad price.

Thanks man. Like I said, you check craigslist and the various bike classifieds in this area, and my asking price is right there with the others. Good luck on your hunt!

Yes, but as I mentioned, it was never dropped by me. I specifically put photos of the bike at every angle so those who were interested in the bike would be able to get a decent look at it to determine whether or not they wanted to come see it in person. I never claimed that it wasn't dropped.

And guess what, if nobody buys the bike at my asking price, I'll have no choice but to ask less. That's business.

But honestly, I appreciate you pointing out the faults of the bike. Everyone has the right to know what they are getting themselves into. I bought the bike in this condition because it drove great. Like they say...there are two types of riders: those who have been down and those who haven't gone down yet. It doesn't affect the ride or performance of this bike at all. The rash is really not as bad as the photo makes it seem. And a new clutch lever is what, $15-20?!

I agree, the clutch lever is an easy fix and I would say a good chunk of bikes out there have a tweaked lever here and there. Hell, my bike had the exact same piece missing off the end of the lever when I bought it and I didn't even notice till I brought it home. The bike looks like it is in great shape, I was simply trying to help others that didn't know what to look for. Everything else looks good, no rash on the swing arm or front fork bottoms. The price is always determined by the market, you may get what you want or you may have to drop the price, depends on how quickly you need to get it out of the garage. If I had to guess, if you wait till spring/summer you will probably get closer to your asking price. Good luck with the sale.

That's exactly right...the price is dependent upon the market! I'm not in a rush to sell it, so I can afford to wait it out and hopefully get the price that I'm asking. Granted, I'd like it gone by July. But as the weather warms up, there will be people out there looking for bikes. I know I was one of them a few years ago. Thanks man!
