I am looking at a 1988 325iC---mint, mint, mint!
The second owner purchased car in 1996 with 37K---he has service records, new tires last year, newer black top, (BMW Red) leather in very good condition, new muffler last year, always garaged, timing belt replaced 4 years ago (belt has approximately 25k), A/C works, he's asking $5500, 129k..Thanks!

def not his asking price it may only have 25k on the timing belt but its been on for 4 years and i would drive it home carefully and do a new timing belt..if its really clean 4k

Being in Mass, I would take it somewhere and put it on a lift to check the underside for signs of rust! For sure change the timing belt. Offer $4500 cash if everything checks out.
