          These phones were selling for $600 a couple of years ago because the got such strong signal pretty much everywhere and people were using them like satellite phones. They would unlock them and float on any network they could. Finally the phone companies figured out a way to shut that down so they no longer work as well as they did and now their only value is the retro aesthetic.
