This is too fucking cheap man. I think the owner should buy paint and pay you 800 for labor.

This is interesting. What paint products do you use? How much would the cost go up if you used glasurit?

i only use PPG , Transtar or Dupont. glasurit is not particularly better in anyway and not commercially available in my area.

                        agreed great outcome!!

could you perhaps do a dark blue matte? would look sick on my track car.. does involve a clear coat after?

                          thanks everyone !

@ etxxz yea i can do a matte blue, this is how i would do it, i would use a specail line of flat colors by BASF (which is the brand of paint that BMWS come painted from the factory with) and use their specialty "flat" low gloss clear. so it would be a flat two stage paint job and not a cheap flat single stage like what everyone else uses also whats cool about that is if you get bored with it you can wetsand and polish the car and turn your paintjob glossy

you're the man.. so the paint is glossy but the clear makes it flat and look like above?
so i'm going to a junkyard this weekend i'm much to anctious to get my car painted.. need to pick up bumpers and the car is yours.

BASF is crazy, they developed the HT-PEM fuel cell membranes we used in my previous company.
