Full OCLV Carbon!!! made in the USA (not a Taiwan frame) right at home in Waterloo, Wisconsin.
This is a 2003 model, Candy red. It is the second to last year for this frame style and is one of the best Trek bikes ever made imo. This was the same frame that Lance was riding to all his early victories on the Tour. It is fully equipped with 9 speed Dura-Ace 7700 components throughout and has a super rare set of Bontrager wheels that were recalled for a patent infringement at the time. I have kept it in near perfect shape and always replaced wear items. I would be asking 2250 for the bike if I can get interest. I am the second owner and have all the original receipts and paperwork that came with the bike for your insurance purposes should you purchase it. It's a 54cm and I'm 5'11'' but I like to ride small and in a more aggressive position.
I may consider selling just the frame and fork/headset without components or wheels or would be willing to work with people on a deal with different wheels or not all the components if they are interested. I will not part it out to sell the individual components though.
I am just in a tight spot now and need some loot, and will have to make do with some of my other 2 wheel mechanical toys.
PM me if you have any thoughts or want to discuss some options. Please no low balls, I'm tight for cash but am NOT going to just give this away. This bike has faired me well and taken me through my first Ironman.
