    1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4

*Pictures are with old headlights. New headlights are on the truck and can be seen in first 2 shots*

    Guys,

I'm selling my 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. It has Burgundy exterior with a dark Tan vinyl interior which is pretty resilient. The truck has a tough as nails 4.0L inline 6 cylinder and has 210k miles. The truck is my current daily driver, but with the recent addition of the X5 and getting my M3 back on the road, I'm trying to thin out the stable.

The Jeep is an excellent work/daily truck. For those of you who have had Jeeps or have them now, you know what I mean. The repairs for the issues this truck has are pretty straightforward and if you've ever worked on your e30 then this is going to be a piece of cake as well. There are plenty of Jeep forums just like R3V for e30s that I'm a member of and it’s a mirror image of the support and DIYs of this site. The parts are really inexpensive to boot. I wanted to keep it and use it as a off-roader and slap some better tires on it, but there is nowhere to do that kind of stuff around me and I don't currently have the free time to work on it. Overall, it’s a good truck that just needs a little TLC and some time to be great.

    The Good

    • Average 19 mpg (75% city / 25% highway) on my commutes
    • 4x4 works great and is easy to engage and disengage. Used rarely, but helps maintain traction tremendously during the snowy winter season.
    • Split Fold Rear Seats
    • Cruise Control
    • A/C is ice cold and heat is blazing hot and the fan blows really well
    • Adjustable Luggage Rack on Roof
    • Automatic Sensing Head/Tail Lights (dusk & dawn)
    • Cargo Net for trunk area
    • Electronic Compass and Exterior Temperature Gauge
    • Electric Driver and Passenger Seats
    • Passed Maryland State Emissions in January
    • Passed Maryland State Safety Inspection in January
    • No Engine Fault Codes

    The Bad
    • Oil leak at the oil filter housing
    • Could use new tie rods and ball joints because the front end feels loose

Truck is being sold As-Is for $2500 obo.

    Thanks,
    Gary

Thanks for the bump. She doesn't have the prettiest exterior (clear peeling on roof and quarter panel) but she's tough.

Bump for Gary and this ZJ. Gary is meticulous with all his cars, I can vouch for this!

                  Thanks Max! :)

Yesterday I gave it another oil change and washed her up since we're starting to get real winter here.

Today I replaced the 2 motor mounts which made an incredible difference on how the car feels while stopped in gear. Car used to vibrate and now she feels amazing.

I'll be tackling rear brake pads and going after the oil filter adapter leak this weekend.

You guys are going to make me want to keep this thing.
