I'm thinking about getting a chinchilla for my sister.

Theyre actually quite clean pets as long as you dont leave them in a cage filled with feces. I had a plastic ball contraption with a type of powder in it for my old chinchilla to clean itself. Its quite entertaining to watch them rolling around it the cleaning ball.
