    I'm actually serious lol.

You supply materials and prep the car; I just shoot. Single stage. 2-3 layers. More $ for primer or clear or more than 3 coats. Your job to wet sand/buff/whatever else you want to do to it. Basically, I'm just laying paint.

    Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!

Wrong. Unless you have Maaco history, or the paint has thoroughly failed, you should just sand with 800 grit in order to give the new paint something to stick to. Nothing will stick better than BMW paint, so you're better off putting paint on top of that.

I've seen some people do a scuff with 320 and go to paint. Although, you'd need to do more layers to make sure it didn't show through. I think about 400 is fine for a good tooth. 800 seems a bit excessive.

Edit: FYI I'm not a pro by any means.

It has a single stage random blue done by an Earl Scheib/Maaco/BS shop over the og brilliantrot. Makes me a sad bear.

It blows so bad I feel like I should just attack it chemically.

I was going to chem strip it to bare metal and prime from the get go. This enamel paint on there sucks so bad.

I use www.paintforcars.com for cheap paint.

Enamel paint is good if done right. Once it gets a tooth, it's pretty chip resistant (well as far as paints go).

Blue on top of red is kind of a... bad combo. The red would def show through. You'd want to probably primer a neutral color for a coat or two then do the blue. Although, then your door jams and engine bay would be red. Harsh contrast.

Just to clear myself, the PO did it haha. No idea what the PO was smoking when he thought this was a good idea.

Even the jambs and under the trunk lid are blue. It's dumb.

Bay, car interior, inside trunk are all still red at least. I just want to get rid of all the blue.
