I got a new laptop for a good price so I've got this one extra now.
It's a Hewlett Packard Pavilion DV5000t 15.4" laptop
Specs:
1280x800 widescreen anti-glare screen
Intel Core Duo T2250 1.73GHz dual core processor
2GB Corsair DDR-667 RAM
GeForce 7400 Go graphics
DVD +/- R/W drive
6 in 1 card reader
Wireless Remote
I've maintained it pretty well, periodic cleanings so there's not a lot of dust buildup inside or anything. I bought it in August of 2006, and it cost 1052 at the time because I custom ordered it.
It's overall a good laptop, some plusses include a really sturdy design (the hinges on the screen are amazingly tough still), the base and lid both don't flex easily. It's got a row of media buttons and a wireless on/off. The hard drive has been replaced once by HP. It's also got a nice appearance. I also put a lot of time and effort into creating a windows installation disk without the HP bloatware which came with it (would come with the laptop as well.)
Some minuses include some small scratches on the lid. The paint they chose there is relatively fragile and a snap in my laptop case scraped it before I realized what was happening. I type a lot, so the symbol on a couple of the keys is a bit rubbed off. Only A and S appear to be affected by that.
It performs pretty well; I do a lot of photoshop and play some games and it performs adequately or more than adequately for those things. It works with 60 megapixel images pretty well, courtesey of the extra ram I installed (came with 1 GB).
I'm looking for around 400 dollars for it.
If you have any questions, shoot me a PM.
