Sorry for not responding, I'll get to everyone tonight. I've been extremely busy in the garage working on my car and have a brother's graduation to attend tonight.

For reference and anyone wondering. The market rate for 003s (from the few sets that have sold in the last few months on vortex/ other internet boards) has been from 1600 to 2000 or so (a NIB set is on the vortex for 3500 atm). RS001s (in stock condition, unwidened) have been going from 700 (a set i bought) to about 1100 (with tires, super clean), and not much more.

I would like to recoup this difference, so depending on your wheels and tires (if any), condition- expect to add about 500 or more on top. I would do my own shipping, and the buyer their own as well.

I hope this explains everything well, because if the wheels aren't traded in about the next 2 weeks, the 003s will be taken apart, powdercoated and polished by a friend, and then not as easily attainable.

This trade works ideally for someone who got their 001s or (xxx # in 4x100) for super cheap and wouldnt mind adding a couple hundred for rare 003s and still get a good deal overall.

So from what I read (& thanks for the clarification), the only difference between your wheels & RS 001's is the thickness of the barrel? That it's a 15" instar, but utilizes a bigger barrel to make the wheel 16"?

Close, but not quite. The 003s are the only ones with 16" barrels & lips that use the 30 hole instars from 15" RSs. I believe all other 16" RSs use 34 hole lips/ barrels/ instars.

I remember conversion kits to make 15" RSs into 16" RS003 style were available on ebay from Germany for something like $1800. These included the barrels & lips, but nothing else.
