    WTB: 15x????, 4x100

Really want some lightweight 15x7.5 or 15x8. To throw either 205/50 or 225/45 on the 318. I decided against slammed on 16s because I don't want to turn my commute into a pain in the ass.

If I don't find anything soon, I'll probably just buy the 15x8 TRM C1 from TireRack, but would really like something lighter then 15lbs, but still 8" wide, which basically leaves the 6UL wheels, but once you add spacers/studs you're looking at double the cost of the TRM wheels.

Let me know what you've got.

lightweight is going to have to be kosei's, TR1's (of which i have both) or some SSR's

If I could find some SSR's I would ditch my kosei's quickly.

I know, I regret selling my 16x7 SSRs that were originally on the bronzit car.

Ronal's or euroweaves would look like nasty, raunchy, sweaty sex on that car.

Didn't mean to get all mushy on you

          Sold.......again.

True, but I want as lightweight wheels as possible. Going to throw some sticky tires on for summer and AutoX. Then use the weaves for winter.

I was thinking of selling my 15x7 rotas
              they are very light.
              but need spacers to fit.
              but i have them.
but you also need the long lugs.
              but i have those too!

Something that may be an option if you can wait until mid February:

Spacers necessary, obviously. The weight is being hotly debated, as the weight listed is preliminary and heavy.

If they clear the brakes, I think these are what I'll run on HPDE days. I think.

^That's very interesting! Looks almost exactly like the Works I'm trading away.

Hmmmm, the 6UL are about the same offset, so.

Although they are showing their 15x7 at 2lbs heavier then the existing RPF1. Maybe not so promising?

Yeah, that's the part that's being debated. Enkei's adspeak says lighter than the RPF1, but it's going to be hard to get that with the way the wheel is designed. It'll probably be around 13 pounds for the 15x8, maybe a hair more.

I looked hard at the 6UL wheels, but the profile of the spokes would mean I'd have to run at least a 20mm spacer to clear the brakes, maybe more. I'm hoping the PF01 has slightly better clearance, with a max spacer of 15mm. Otherwise I'll be using the TR 15x8 with a small spacer up front. The weight is important but the width is more so.

What about the Compomotive wheels that Guten is planning?

I'm planning on running a 20mm spacer if I go with 6UL wheels anyway. Is barrel clearance a problem or just the spokes? Not that the 318 is getting bug brakes.

That leaves you at 15x8 ET16 vs ET17 for the TR with a 3mm spacer. And you save a couple pounds since the 6UL is 12.3. And I think the 6UL is better looking wheel along with being light.

Any idea on the weight of them? But I'm not sure the price point matches up either.

The 6UL wheel is very often seen on racecars, probably due to lightweight, high strength and low price. What more can we want from wheel? Many MINIs run them too.
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

Another option is D-Force LTW-5, right offset, price is good, light but only 15x8.

Barrel and spokes clear at about the same point as you move the wheel out. Right now I'm using the templates for the brakes and wheels, so it may be off by a mm or 2. If you aren't doing brakes and don't mind spacers I think the 6UL is damn hard to beat. Emilio's a nice guy too.

Good point. And I do like the looks of the 6UL. Hmmm.

The Compo's? No info yet, at least that I've seen.

You're running the race kit up front correct, or the Sport kit?

Have you asked Emilio is he would be willing to put the template behind his wheel to check fitment?
