    Atiwe Typ-B 15x7 ET18 4x108 *OLD-SCHOOL GOODNESS*

Up for sale are a set of Atiwe Typ-B in 15x7 ET18 4x108.

I got these out of Germany for my e30 thinking that they were 4x100. They went strait to my local wheel shop to get straitened, trued, blasted, powder-coated and perfected. I just got them from the shop today and when I went to mount them, guess what? They're 4x108. Needless to say, I'm a little pissed and embarrased.

Anyway, they are damn-near perfect in every way. Like I said, I just got them back from the shop. They are strait and true and have fresh powder coat (one coat of 'porsche-silver' and two coats of clear). Stainless valve-stems. The tires on them are new 205/55R15 Falken Ziex 912's. If you can't use the tires, I'll keep them.

    On to pictures...

As for background on these wheels, Atiwe made, amongst other things, alloy wheels for most German applications from the 70's until 1994 when their wheel division was bought-out by Borbet. I have never, ever seen another set of these wheels in North America.

If you want some really nice and unique old-school wheels for your 5-cyl Audi, Escort, Focus, Saab 900, or what have you, these are them. No, they wont fit on an e30, otherwise I wouldn't be selling them...

    Price:
    $1500 with tires
    $1000 w/o tires
Expensive? Yes. But they are basicly brand-new 20 year old wheels, and I'm still loosing money after all the effort went into them. Local pick-up or delivery in the Puget Sound area is preferred, however I'm willing to ship within the US at buyer's cost.
I'm also interested in possable trades for something oldschool, especially in a 3-piece...

I'm posting every where I can think of. From what I have found these should be a direct bolt-on for:

      5-Cylender Audis
      '80s Escorts
      Some '80s Mustangs
      Early Saab 900's
Current-Production Focuses (although the offset may be too low)

Oh man! That sucks, bud. I was really looking forward to seeing these bad boys mounted on one of the nicest euro bumpered cars out there.
        Need a part? PM me.

You could probably squeeze adapters behind those. Itd be tight though

Those are badass! Post on vwvortex in the audi wheel classifieds. These would look great on a coupe quattro.

Why don't you get E30Rob to make you a wheel adaptor? Might cut it close to the fender with that offset.

                    Oh fuck me.

I'm the one who sold him these wheels as 4x100. This is the first I'm hearing (reading) that they aren't what I sold them as. As many people know I was in Germany for quite some time buying and selling parts. I was sold these as 4x100 wheels. I bought them only to resell them. I never mounted them and had no way to know. The person I bought them from was a trusted source that I had for parts.

Rainier.... I don't know what I can say or do here. Unfortunately since you've put so much money into the wheels I obviously can't recoupe that for you. If you wish to contact me either via phone or PM I'll do whatever I can to help make this right.

Both publicly and personally I say I am completely sorry about this screw up.

                      No worries Marakka.
I should have checked them when they came in rather than just blindly taking them to the shop. I figure the fault is way way more on me than you. I really don't see any need for you to feel wrong in any way. After all your add was an 'as is' affair. I figure some Saab or Quattro owner out there needs these wheels.
The bolt pattern was SO close that when you hold them up to a 4x100 hub you can see line-up on all four bolt holes, you just cant get lugs in there. At first I thought my bolts were just fawk'd, but after a few minutes I pulled out the steel rule... fech

Consider "wobble bolts" to make 'em work?

How about re drilling your hubs and brake rotors. Its only a drop in the bucket compared to your current expenses.
