Oh how I love the fact that I'm now going to be able to run 4x100 or 5x120 wheels at my discretion. This must be how bisexuals feel when they get to the club.

With my adapters, I'd be at ET+3. I think I'd need a little more than a fender roll... lol.

you would be fine. I run et5 on my 16x8s with a 205/45 and Im dumped on coils. et3 wont be too much different

                16x8 et 20 w/ 225.45.16 fits nicely. Perfect almost. So 205s et-3 shouldn't be bad.

                    What?

                    20mm adapter/spacers correct? Et17 + 20mm spacer is et-3.

If you put a 10mm spacer to run rear contours on the front of an E36 M3 you go from 17x8.5 et41 to et31. At least that is how I understand it.

It's my understanding that when the centerline of your wheel comes out past the mounting plane of the hub face, that is positive/high offset.

et17 means that the mounting surface of the wheel is 17mm offset from the centerline of the wheel toward the outside of the wheel. So in this case, a 20mm adapter does nothing to the WHEELS offset but it does effect the mounting offset. Do you get what Im saying?? Adding a spacer to the wheel doesnt change the offset of the wheel. The wheel is still et17 but with a 20mm spacer/adapter the mounting offset or"fitment" would be et-3.

                        Understand what I mean?

Yes a spacer doesn't technically change the offset. It changes the backspacing but essentially it is a -3 ET.

negative offset is low offset. Think big dishy wheels and drifters. Positive is the normal one
