Can some wheel pros chime in?

I am looking at a set of 16x7 BBS RS. The sizing is 16x7 ET 45 and professionally redrilled 5x112

Can they be redrilled to 4x100 and be safe? They are straight no rash, just a local selling them.

Would it be cheaper to use adapters sense I am still planning on going for a wider stance?

I am a wheel n00b I know names and styles and sizes. I just don't know what the et45 will do or what I need to get a wide stance. I want at least 16x9 in the rear. So bigger lips?

You want to redrill... a redrill?

Just get adapters. I can't believe that people are so skeptical and afraid of running wheel adapters that they would consider redrilling a redrilled wheel.

I was not sure on how safe a redrill would be. I would rather run adaptors and that would also give me the stance I am looking for.

I did not know what the best route would be. I am just doing the adaptors. I love BBS RS rims SO much!!!

If you have an ET45 then run adapters.

If they have already been redrilled 5x114.3 to 5x112 then you have a shot of filling and redrilling to 4x100.

If they have been filled and redrilled already then I wouldn't take the chance.

Yo dawg, I heard you liked holes so we redrilled your redrill so you can stance while you stance.

I found out what the pattern was before. It was 5x114 then filled and drilled to 5x112. Can they safely be drilled to 4x100? I have no idea how filling and drilling affects the rims.

Why would you fill & redrill again only to have to run spacers rather than just use adapters to bring them to the perfect offset anyway?

These wheels you are looking at must have a negative .5" LIP. Why not look for something that better suits your cart?
