PRICE CHANGE: $700+ shipping.
I bought these from a close friend about 5 yrs ago. The clear was peeling off badly and 3 were slightly bent. All had moderate curb rash.
r3v references here are Organic Mechanic and several others (need to look up a few others). I will revise if I can find a few references' UNs.
I have yet to meet anyone who was able to tell me the origin of these wheels. My friend bought them in STL from a man who had them on a Baur 2002 or E30.
Manufacturer: Viking (Germany)
Diameter and Width: 16x7
Bolt Pattern: 4x100
Offset: ET26
Centerbore: 57.1
Weight: 16.0 pounds each.
Fitment: BMW E30 non-iX, non-M3 4-lug (e.g. 318i, 318is, 323i, 325, 325e, 325i, 325is, etc.) and many '80s VWs - may need spacers (My guess is that these will fit the following: Corrado 4-Stud 89-93 ET35-38, Golf 1/Cabrio 76-98 ET35-38, Golf 2&3 84-98 ET35, Passat 4-Stud 88-97 ET 35-38).
BUYER ASSUMES ALL RESPONSIBILITIES TO ENSURE FITMENT IS CORRECT.
I have only ever seen a similar set once before - they were on a Miata down the street from me. Same wheels, but his were 15".
I spent close to $1K for professional repair/refinish. The curb rash was repaired, each wheel was straightened, all were dipped in an acid bath and then powdercoated with "Near Chrome" and multiple coats of clear. I then waxed them with Wheel Wax.
All four wheels are 9.8 out of 10. They would be a 10, but the guy operating the tire machine put a couple small scratches on them even though I told him to please be careful and why.
They have seen under 100 street miles (no track). I had the car detailed, then drove from my house to the park for a photo shoot about 10 mins away, parked it inside for a couple days then back and forth to a Euro show another 15 mins away. That's it.
Wheel 3 has a slight imperfection on the outside edge. Wheel 4 has a couple minor scrapes on the edge and face. Pics show these.
We may be able to work out a shipping arrangement, but you will have to coordinate the packing because I wouldn't trust my own packing job. Just sayin'...
If you have ANY questions or need more pics, please let me know STAT.
