K1 center alternatives?

Is anyone machining a piece for the hubcenters as I can't find any centers out there right now for them thanks.

I think I have some centers. Let me check. I use my k1's for winter so I don't much need them to be pretty.

I've looked before myself... nothing really out there. You can always go with the domed BMW logos with the self adhesive backing.

Here's a link to something like I'm talking about, they have them in different diameters. Be sure to get ones that are a little larger that the hole in the middle so the adhesive will have something to stick to. http://eagleday.stores.yahoo.net/bmwwhemandce.html

I gave it a shot with the stock wheel center caps from the e90 and from the e39. The e39 has the normal factory 16" wheels and as you see below, the caps work perfectly and are tight but not too tight! The e90s are just a bit too tight.

aren't the front and rear hub centers different though? Once intalled, the hub centers on the front are kind of flush while the rears are dipped in. I think those caps you have would only work on the rear. Correct me if I'm wrong here.

Hmm, my k1's came with caps but I don't really like them. The lack of a dust cap on the rear hubs makes the wheels without center caps look a lil weird.
