the problem is finding those wheels. the price doesnt matter... for example i searched 3 years for one set rare hartge 4x100 17" 3 pieced wheels. furthermore i had to buy a complete garage of parts just for the wheels.
those wheels dont grow on trees, so if you find a set you will pay the price, no matter how expensive they are ;)

I had to buy a set of Hartge design A's so I would have spare centercaps for my 3pc Design C's

$500 plastic centercaps ;)

all these wheels have been out of production for 20 years, so good luck finding another set

i also had the problem because i have several sets and most of them are without caps. So i found someone who made me those caps with CNC. They look the same and they are more ruggedized.

it takes a lot of headaches, but once I have them refinished, it's all worth it

So do you just have an amazing amount of contacts or is this off of craigslist or other european equivalents? I'm just curious cuz it blows my mind how many amazing sets you have. And the price never is exorbinant like other people are charging (not taking a pot shot at any other individuals) but the regular guys who had a set built and then want something different always want a huge price.
