You're measureing too wide. Its not edge to edge, its where the tire bead would sit. My guess is you have the set, 16x7.5 and 9. that is a common staggered setup for these wheels, GLWS

If they say 7 1/2 or 9 at the edge of the rim they are 16" staggered. Pretty common and cool setup.

Borbet never made 16x8.5 or 16x9.5 or 16x10 Type A. They made 17" with 8.5 and 10 width.
