I made a bunch of sets of quarter height hexes last year (all gone), and personally there is no comparison. These fit the bbs rs wheel much better imo. Especially in the case of a set with slant lips.

case in point... this is a one off custom bubble lip i built for a set, but similar to the slant in many ways

apparently i need to shoot a couple more pictures on slant lips... give me a few

Heck yes! the cone design is why I am getting these. I think it makes the classic look of the RS better looking and more upto date. After I get back from FL I am getting a set!

small thread caps are dwindling. i think i only have 2 sets up for grabs left. another set sold this morning.

large thread caps are still in stock for a few weeks, but dont hesitate. they will probably all be sold out by the time show season starts..

thanks. if you want a 4x100 16" custom set, shoot me an email as i have 2 sets i am building. all custom, new lips etc.

oh and remember to grab a set of the conical caps when you pick up a set of RS. Or grab a set of caps now, and build the set of wheels around it. haha

Bump. Down to 2 sets of small thread conical caps (1 is pending)

Large thread caps still ready to go.

I have had the prototype set on my dd for a little over 12 months now and these things are awesome. They have been through the salt, brake dust(tons and tons) and lots of Different temperatures, 1500 mile trips to the southeast, etc. And they still wipe clean and polish by hand with no effort.

here is a conical cap in the (fresh out of the mill) diamond cut finish. only way to describe it is that it is about 60% reflectivity compared to mirror polish which would be 100% reflective
