4x100 BBS RS Spare tire! one off

About a year and a half ago I had an idea for a designing and building a spare tire that has since gotten a ton of attention. Here is a blog article about this spare tire:

spinfab.net is your first and best source for all of the information you’re looking for. From general topics to more of what you would expect to find here, spinfab.net has it all. We hope you find what you are searching for!

since i got my hands on another brand new spare tire in 16", it was about time to make a second bbs rs spare. this one is for sale to you 4x100 guys, so if you want to be one of the only ones out there with a one off spare, heres your chance...

4x100 redrilled and filled. original 5x130 flat backed wheel (rare flat back)
2" outer slant lip mirror polished
    1.5" inner shotpeened finish
your choice of finishes for the center powdercoat, bolts choice as well, caps, pretty much the works are possible. I have black spike bolts, or chrome bolts, conical cap or hex caps, and you decide color of the powder.
brand new 135/70/16 tire mounted when assembled.

because of the options, its hard to throw down a solid number, as the parts are all quite expensive, but offers somewhere around 4-600 are probably going to make sense. if you think about it, its not too different then a set of rs thats refinished. 4 wheels-2k = 500 a wheel. so pretty much in the same realm, but here the skys the limit.

The article was written about the original one i did for myself. 3" outer, 1.5" inner, 24k gold spikes, 24k gold 1/2ht hex, pearlescent white center, etc. you get the idea.

make some offers, and you too can have something absolutely wild and functional. This is probably going to be the only other one i build other then my own, so it wont last long

I respect the work involved but it is lame enough having a donut lol but a RS donut? Now you can look broke ass in style xD and again no offence but I personally see a normal RS as a spare looks better IMO. But whoever buys this will have one amazing donut! This will sell super well :) if I had the spare change this would go on the shops wall!

yeah if its not in a car, it is definitely wall material. Only reason why i have yet to finish it is that i dont know what color to powdercoat the face. everything else is all ready to go.

Interesting concept but may not even be functional if you have bigger brakes (usu. a problem in the front). I'm just saying.

You should probably go back and read the article. Lol

That was the point to building this. I run a stoptech bbk with 380mm rotors all 4 corners and i built the rs spare specifically to clear it. No stock spare would ever do so

                      thanks.

if someone really wants me to make this into a full 16x8 spare, i guess thats an option too.. i do have 2 extra 5.5" barrels

in that case, it would be a set of 5 wheels, 3 16x8 (2" lips) and 2 16x9 (3" lips) all 4x100. pricing isnt going to be cheap though, so pm only if interested in a fully refurbished one off set

no offense, but e30 brakes are on the tiny side, and even larger bbk for the e30 are physically less obtrusive then the stoptech BBK on the z. my VIP modular wheels needed 34mm of pad height to clear the calipers. there is nothing out there for an e30 that comes close to taking up that much space.
