I did exactly the same, and I'm ok with doing the disassembly and reassembly on my own time and dime. I was planning on swapping out the lips for narrower lips anyway.

I should clarify, what I'm asking for is a refund for what I paid the powder coater to refinish the already separated centers, and my time and hassle for coordinating everything, transporting the centers to and fro, having to leave work early, etc. I was hoping to simply swap the lips and be ready to roll, and for what I paid for the wheels I think that is a fair expectation. Unfortunately it was not the case.

Thanks for bringing up your perspective. I obviously wasn't clear in my description of what I am requesting.
That sounds more than reasonable if you've split them and are willing to put them back together.

Everything is already done...here is the end result. Dmoney, with all the blood, sweat and tears that went into these, I'm going to have to sit on them for a while ;)

          ummmm, dude.

the photos you posted have wheels with completely different lips. You realize that right?

Yes, I swapped the lips for 1.5" all around. They were originally 2" and 2.5" slant. I didn't want to have to run so much stretch, and I don't think I could add anymore tire to the existing 8.5" and 10" wheels without rubbing. That's why I have no problem with my time disassembling and reassembling as I was already expecting to do that.

Post deleted...seller lied through his teeth, continually tried to disparage Theo, and took advantage of my trust. Total ass hat. Oh well, it's all over. Sorry Theo for any damaging remarks I made as a result of the lies the seller told me.
