FS: 17x8.5 BBS RS212 - Filled and Redriled to 4x100

Hey everyone,

I just had these refinished ovet the past few months. Ive never mounted them, I actually havent even picked them up from the shop that refinished them. I found a staggered set that will fill my pulled arches much better and would like to move these. I have a ton of $ invested, and looking to only break even on the set that I am buying. I am more than happy to answer any questions. These have been my dream wheels for quite sometime, and truly are amazing. The set I am looking to get are also for sale in the classifides, no secrets here, but the set I will be buying is simply more aggressive.

Price: $2500 +$300 if you want tires. We can work out a deal on shipping and a deal on the paypal fees if necessary. I can deliver these to anyone in the Tri-state area.

I can't believe someone redrilled 5x120 RSs with 72.56 centerbores. Any time you do a 4x100 on a 72.56 (or wider for that matter), you leave VERY little metal between the mounting surface and the center of the wheel.

I can't believe anyone redrilled a set of ultra desirable RS212s that would probably fetch the same amount undrilled. Should've used some junk 5x114.3 RSs instead, especially since they have the high offset 17x7 varieties easily found on VR and memfab.

Also, why would someone PM you a # to get pics on a tiny phone screen, especially when you're trying to sell me a product? At $2500, I would hope to have a barrage of detailed pics on here if I were to consider buying these.

I dont know you, but from various other threads I have appreciate your knowledge and respectful feedback. Seeing these responses is dissapointing, as shitting on someones FS thread provides no value, especialy since your coments are subjective in nature. If this redrill is preventing you from sleeping at night, PM and you can tell me all about how your really feel.

You may be late in the game here, but this forum just like any other has its fair share of ignorant individuals, with poor taste and execution of projects. There are many great projects and heklpful people on VW forums, Honda forums, etc. Your comment does not make any sense. The reason the wheels are posted in on vortex is because it simply has more traffic.

I would like to thank everyone for their feedback. The fill and redrill work was done with great care and precision. Metal hubcentric rings have been pressed in to decrease the size of the centerbore, and there is enough metal in the centers to safely run these wheels. I had no intention of doing a 5 lug swap so the redrill was appropriate for MY project. Additionally I had no intention of ever selling these as they are my dream wheels, only reason they are up for possible sale is the wider set that just popped up that would fill the pulled rear arches on my vert better.

I posted this thread to gauge interest. With every intention of providing many detailed photos. If i posted this without photos, many of you would be up in arms that this thread is useless without them.

Mike: I referenced the VW forum because doing sketchy unsafe shit is something I expect to see from VW kids. I personally view this redrill as sketchy and unsafe. I would, at the very least, post pictures of the centers so that people can judge for themselves if they are willing to trust these wheels with their own lives as well as those of their passengers and other fellow motorists.
