I have a 4 bolt set of these as well and they are not made by American Racing and are made in Japan, but people won't believe that.

I really like your center cap setup too.

They absolutely are American racing. They are just a higher grade that's made abroad. All multipiece wheels may by American racing were labeled ARE along with some other higher end models.

I used to own a fox body mustang and this was a very popular wheel for that application.

If these are A.R.E. wheels then they are not 3 piece. Unfortunately the lips were welded to the barrels from the factory making them not real three piece wheels.

Well mine are 3 piece as the lips were changed for larger ones from the PO and I took them apart to have them refinished and polished.

If the barrels were welded together than why would they be sealed with silicone? Either way this is a nice set of wheels with great potential regardless of orgin. This is after all a for sale thread.
