FS: M-System 1 Wheel Cover Setup

I have 3 extras (2-Left / 1-Right) from a set I bought to complete my wheels... I rate them 8/10, I'd just change the roundels, personally.

Willing to separate to sell as single spares. One cover has a small imperfection around the valve stem hole nothing serious. New from the dealer $305 per wheel and parts have to come from Germany (10 business days)

    Each one includes:
    Roundel
    Center Cap (pop out)
    Turbine Cover
    Turbine Fan

    Individual - $120 + s/h
    Package deal- $320 + s/h for all 3

For a fellow S14 member, I could do $100 shipped for the full cap on the one with the blemish... That way you have an extra fan and cover... LMK

Introduced for the e34 M5 the M-System wheels were designed to improve brake cooling efficiency 25-30%... forseeably for DTM and 24-hr. races where heatsoak can be an issue.

How they work is it uses a thin 5-spoke design 17x8/9" wheel then bolt an alloy fin which acts as a fan as the wheels turn suctioning air in through a slotted cover that directs the cool air to the vanes of brake discs... Check this site.
The [E34] M5 came with an unusual wheel design. From 1988-1992 the M5 featured the M-System wheels. These wheels were 8x17J, but came with directional bolted-on wheel covers. Under the cover was a …

ah so on top of that you need to make sure to have compatible wheels to use these as well?

Oh, yes. I bought spares as my set was missing a cover but it's taking up space so I figure a shop or other members who have a set of M-System wheels without covers may want these.
I'm on a mission for the 17x9" rear wheels now!
