WTB 2 BBS RS 15 inch centers (with the proper offset)

    Hi all,

Very recently I was able to re-build a set of RS, 15 inch. They are RS 189 with an ET 38 offset. When I rebuilt them I used 5 mm spacers on the front hubs because the rims inner face was very close to the front calipers.

Last sunday I attended a track day and the rims rubbed the calipers on hard cornering, something that does not happens on daily driving.

I do not want to buy larger spacers. So, I would like to re-assemble them using other centers, with a more fitting offset, close to ET24. I know it is a difficult thing to look for but if anyone has a couple of RS centers with a close to ET 24 offset please let me know. ;)

    Thanks,

are you using stock calipers? If so I would find the section where its rubbing (should be pretty evident now after that happening on the track) and see if you can grind a little bit back off the caliper...

I had to do this to fit some wheels in the past, and all you do is paint over the section you grind back. 1 - 2 mm may be all you need....

      ^ Yes sir, Girling/OEM calipers.

Seems like a very good idea, I´ll consider it in case that I can´t find the centers/faces I want. Thank you!
