Depends on your tire size and suspension set up. With coils 1/2 way down and no fender gap with 215/45/16 it rubs on big dips for me but I haven't rolled fenders yet. 205/40 or 205/45 and hr sports may be a diff story...- Frank

My car is all stock, not lowered rolled etc. I'm looking for a direct fit without mods. I'd think that 9" wide on 16" rim would be a little to wide/big.Comment

You might be somewhat confused...
I only rubbed because my car is very low and again, this only happened on severe dips and because i'm running an aggressive tire width (215 instead of 205).
These will bolt up to your stock suspension BMW no problem, no mods, no fender rolling required. If you are on complete factory stock suspension, it should not rub at all. Now if your stock suspension is worn or you have blown shocks (ie: no dampening whatsoeve or sagging springs), then its likely you may rub.
Tire size is a factor also. Do your research, PM Mystikal as he is a very good resource for figuring out proper tires sizes. Many people on r3v run 16x9" wheels, what dictates rubbing is your suspension mods and tire size.
Do some research and let me know if you decide you want them.- Frank

Nice wheels need a new home. If I had another E30 I would mount them asap. I love the staggered look.Comment
