One place must have a spare set and have them up on ebay here for $963 shipped:
Anyway, given that it is *very hard* to get these exact wheels right now, I think the OP's asking is fair - & should be negotiated in person anyway, not bashed online.
Bump & Good luck to OP on these. If I lived in Marin Co. (and I wish I did!) I would come by to check them out and offer. Seriously great wheelset!1990 BMW 325iC Triple Black Hard Top, Self-Wrenched, Original Owner FamilyComment

Well, while theirs (and a couple others) sites says "in stock" - contacting customer service firsthand, as of this morning, they claim can not get anymore from Ronal and have no idea when they will.1990 BMW 325iC Triple Black Hard Top, Self-Wrenched, Original Owner FamilyComment

Ronal ended final production of the ET25 ACT-LS about 15 years ago. I was friends with Gary at Ronal USA back then and in the early 2000's we were actively involved in convincing Ronal to dig out the original tooling (that had been mothballed in the late 80's), and re-issue the wheels. They were a big hit, and ended up making 2 more production runs of them (also at Gary's insistence). In subsequent years after production ended, Ronal Europe and Ronal USA sold off all the remaining inventory to various wheel dealers. If that final inventory has not dried up yet, it eventually will.
Ronal re-tooled that part of the factory to start making more OEM wheels for German carmakers but we were never able to find out if Ronal destroyed the original tooling, or if they mothballed it somewhere at the factory like they did in the late 80's, but Gary was fairly sure the tooling was gone forever since they told him it would be impossible to make any more of them.
At one time i had 6 sets of em when i was actively competing in SCCA competition !Randy Walters

Randy, thanks for that info! Sad that they're gone. Always been one of my favorites.Comment
