Depends how low your car is and how wide of a tire you want to go. I've never had a chance to mount them on my e30. I bought the adapters from the previous owner who put no more then 5k miles on them so there in excellent shape

a 205/45r16 will fit great with a final et of 4 and et 2 with the provided adapters. I was running the same specs but et0 with a minor roll of the inner lips but just about perfect fitment you can find for an e30.

I'm running them with 42Draft 18mm adapters - they bring the offset to +5 all around since they are +23 normally. Fender work isn't an issue - roll the lips and they will rub a little in the rear inner fender area a little until you take a hammer to it.
