WTB: lightweight 4x100 wheels for autox/track

Looking for either 15" or 16" diameter and 7" to 8" wide. Weight preferably 15lb or less (preferably around 13lb for a 15"x8" wheel for example). Offset around 18 to 30. I don't mind using spacers or rolling my fenders a bit more if necessary.

Ideally, I'd like to run a 15x8 wheel with a 205/50r15 tire as that seems to be the sweet spot for tire selection and low cost.

205/50r16 and 225/50r16 also seem to offer good selections for the 16" wheel that aren't too expensive either.

I am a novice so any advice is much appreciated. I guess the bottom line is that I'm not 100% sure what I want so I am hoping I'll get some offers that'll help me figure it out.

What tire size are you planning on running? You need to state what diameter and width and offset you're looking for that will work with those tires. This is important.

When i was actively competing and instructing i was running 225/50-15 R-compounds (Kumho Victoracers and Hoosiers) on 15x7.5 ET25 Ronals for autocross, and the same size tire on 15x7 ET27 Kosei K1 for track.

Your'e right. Early morning brain decided I need autox/track wheels and tires but couldn't figure out specs.

Updated the OP. Any more advice is appreciated as I am a novice to the autox/track scene.

Kosei K8R 15x8 with RS3 versions 2 is pretty much the best bang for the buck you can buy. I've got that setup now and love it. 225/45 is the way to go for 15x8.

You get that whole setup shipped, brand new, mounted and balanced from tirerack for about 1100. That is what I would do if I were you and wanted to be competitive in autocross.

Yes, yes, and yes. I've had the K8Rs 15x8 sitting in my tirerack shopping cart for a couple weeks. Also noticed the K6Rs on clearance yesterday.

And then I noticed today enkei makes the rpf1 in 15x8 11lbs in satin black yes they would be a lot more expensive, butttttt sweet wheels maybe I'll hold off a bit and buy a set of them

I'm still hoping someone has something nice for sale though

Advanti wheels seem to have cool options too for what youre looking for. I cant speak for them and those Koseis are probably an easy choice, but they're one more unique option to explore.

Hell yes, that's what I'm talking about! Thank you. I really like the style of those wheels plus the 11lb weight!! Those just topped my list.

Those look pretty good! Not bad at ~13.5 lbs either for reps and $99 per wheel. Nice lip on them too.

Thanks guys for the suggestions, keep them coming!
