BBS RS 3 Piece Wheels, Lips Polished - 16x10, ET 36, 5x120 Bolt Pattern - No Longer Available

    EDIT - WHEELS ARE SOLD

BBS RS 3 Piece Wheels, Lips Polished - 16x10, ET 36, 5x120 Bolt Pattern

Set of BBS RS 026 three piece wheels, originally for a Corvette, but the bolt pattern also fits BMW of course (with wobble bolts and opening the center hub a little - I have a great machinist that can do this if you like). Corvette/GM is 5x4.75 or 5x120.7, and BMW is 5x120.0 so they are a fraction of a millimeter different.

Professionally checked for straight, one was bent and straightened before having lips polished. Excellent condition.

Of course easy to make wider/narrower or change offset with different lips or barrels.

    16x10, ET36

    $1300

    List Date: 3/6/2017

    Very good looking wheels.

    BMW is 5 x 120

    Those are 5 x 4.75", right ?

4.75" is 120,7mm, not 120mm. A huge difference, especially with nuts having a conical seat.

What about the hub diameters. Are they same ? ;-)

Yep, there is a fraction of a millimeter difference in the bolt patterns, however, many people use GM & Corvette wheels on BMWs without problem. The hubs are different - they can easily be opened up. In fact, if anyone wants, I can have that done locally, before shipping.

        Ø72.5mm center hub for BMW
        Ø70.3mm for the Corvette

Wheels using conical lugs/bolts must have an exact bolt pattern, otherwise the bolt will never be seated or will bend the studs. It is a subject that has been discussed hundred times over the past decade. As long as the buyer knows what he's going into... ;-)

Yes, and wobble bolts are commonly used to go from 5x112 to 5x114.5. To go from 5x120 to 5x120.7 would be a cinch. They are sold by lots of wheel specialists and have been used for years and years.

Yep, I want the buyer to know exactly what they are so they can decide.

He did mention Corvette fitment so give him that Lee. It's not like he said they were a direct fit.
