    FS: Potenza S0-3's 225/50-15...

I'm selling a set of four Bridgestone Potenza S0-3's in 225/50-ZR15 size.

All four tires have between 6 and 7 32nds of tread all around (I believe 9/32nds was new)...

    Demz Iz SoldZzzZZzZ!

These will fit a 15" Ronal LS, right?

Thought so. I know there's someone on here running LS's that wants these!

I have S0-3's on my M Coupe and am very impressed with them.

No one has picked these up yet?!

I just ordered a brand new set on TireRack for $90 a piece. (205/50 16)

Yeah, and that's closeout price. The 225/50-15 have been out of production and unavailable for quite some time.

I found a place selling them yesterday for $175.00 plus shipping each!!

Here is a place claiming that they can get them for $150/each. However, it says "Not in stock - we can order these for you". I doubt they can, as no-one seems to have them in stock anymore.

Those look rather sticky, and would compliment my rf's well. I'll get back to you. They don't seem as "balloony" as my falkens.

Here is how I would compare the S0-3 to the Falken Azenis RT-615:

                    - S0-3 is much, much quieter.
                    - S0-3 has much better ride.
                    - S0-3 is not as sticky (but very close).
                    - S0-3 is better in the wet.
                    - S0-3 is twice or three times the price when new.

As I said on another forum, these tires and the Michelin Pilot Sport 2's are the best summer tires in the world, in my opinion.

If I didn't just order another set of 225's last week, I'd be all over this.

And for the record, they don't work with Ronals. They're one of the few 225/50/15 tires with a 9.3" section width on a 7.5" rim, I know for a fact someone tried to use them on LS' and needed a small spacer to clear the front strut.

Damn, thank you for clearing that up.

                          thats strange...

my friend is running 225/50 15's (BFGoodrich g/Force Sports) and he has absolutely no issues, on ronal's mind you.

And there's someone on this board running 225/50-15 Yoko AVSES100's on Ronals with no issues as well...

But, it sounds like they would clear just fine on Ronals with a 5mm spacer, yes?

The G-Force Sport, like most other 225/50/15 tires, has a 9.2" section width. The 9.3" of the S-03 is just enough to touch the strut housing with Ronals.

Yes, a 5mm spacer will do the trick. I recommend a 3mm one though, you won't need longer bolts and it keeps more weight of the wheel on the hub.
