WTB: 1 or 2 Doublespoke IIs

I just found out that 2 of the wheels (1 front, 1 rear) in the staggered set of Doublespoke IIs I bought are bent and probably can't be repaired. I am looking for either 1 good 17x8.5 and 1 good 17x7.5 or 2 good 17x7.5. I don't want rashed up, bent wheels. i want clean wheels with zero or a very tiny amount of rash.
Let me know what you have. Thanks.

I have two 7.5" DSIIs in great condition overall.

One was a spare and is in mint condition, it even has the original wheel weight on it. The other was used on the road, but is in great condition.

I actually have a set of four, and two of the wheels I decided to start refinishing, but that project seemed like it went on forever and they're still not finished. Wurth paint sucks balls. The other two were in great condition, so I didn't need to refinish them at all.

How about $240 shipped? I can furnish pictures later tonight, when I get home.

That might work. I'll let you know. If I can find 1 good 8.5, would you be willing to sell 1 of your wheels? thanks.

I was told that I'll gain 10 hp and chick will throw themselves at me if I run staggered wheels.

            Damn. Sounds awesome.

Besides, what tires are you gonna run? With 245 width tires on late-style arches you're going to have to do some massaging of the wheelwells.

Both of these wheels are in MINT shape and were both used as spares. I would not hesitate to sell these to even my own grandmother.

                Wheel 1 face

                Wheel 1 center

                Wheel 1 rear

Wheel 2 face--notice, on the left side, that is a flash artifact, not rash. Both of these wheels have NO rash.

Wheel 2 hub (notice small scratches where emblem cap mounts; emblem should cover these minor imperfections)

Wheel 2 detail: Tiny scratch in wheel

                Wheel 2 rear

Nah, I bought 3 from Jon Sorgi around two years ago, and I bought one spare from someone on Bimmerforums to make a complete set of four.

E30 Groupie, I'll PM you if hugh jass decides he only wants one wheel.

I heard 7.5" on all four corners makes the ladies swoon. That way, when you finally learn your lesson and go 235/40R17 on all fours, you won't look weird with staggered wheels.

Leave STAGGGARERERED for the VW crowd. ;)
