If those are 8" wide, then the tires must be like 265's (which they clearly aren't).

What led you to beleive that width?

From the inside of one lip to the inside of the other. How did you measure it with tires installed though?

i measured the inside, from one end of the rim to the other...so that is incorrect measuring procedure? the tires are 225/60 (225mm = ~8.9inches?) the tires crazy wide as hell way wider than the ones on my bottles :).

            prolly 15x7's.

Look at the markings that should be cast in the center of the wheel, near the lug bolt holes- it should tell you the wheel size and the offset.

Those look like E39 wheels, BTW.

Pretty sure they're called Style 29's. OEM BMW wheels on E39's and some others in different sizes + offsets.

Here's the webpage with lots of BMW wheel pics, and a little Deutsch 101 will give you alot of info using the drop down menus on that site.

Those are not E39 wheels, though they look similar. Here's a pic of my E39's stock 15" wheels. Different lip, more spokes.

Already did, but it didn't work, evidently.

Looks like VacMan is right- they are close, but not quite the same as the style 29 E39 wheels. The center caps are different too...

Hey Soopa- pull the center cap off and see what the markings are on the wheel and post up a pic or just what it says there..... :)
