FS: Rare 15x8" Kosei K1's [MD]

Kosei K1 in rare out-of-production 15x8 e30 pattern. 3 Have <2000 miles and the other one is brand new never even mounted. $700 + shipping. [$210 a piece if you ever ordered them new, had them drilled, and shipped from TireRack]. These things havent been made for years.

But here's the "problem": one of the wheels [the brand new one] has a different offset [+12 as opposed to +22]. The story goes, I bought a new one to replace one that I had cracked through TireRack after waiting roughly a year for them to hit the market again. I didnt decide to re-mount them till another 6months after purchasing them. That's when I noticed the offset was +10mm different.

It's possible [as far as i've been told, but hopefully someone could verify] to stagger this setup by adding a 10mm spacer to one of the wheels in the rear. Or, you could buy three 10mm spacers and run all four wheels at +22mm.

    Best Wishes,

That's not true. The one 10mm spacer idea is correct, but you can not increase an offset without actually shortening the wheel hub itself.

          K1 wheels

          As some of you know I just picked up a 73 02...it has 2 15 x7...et 17

          and 2 15 x 8's...et 12.

I test fitted them on my e 30...the 15/7 is fine w/ 225/50 RA 1's....the 15/8 would need the rear fenders pulled/rolled/flared to work w/ the RA.......I didnt try the 8's up frt.

I would think shaving the hub face a wee bit on the et 12 would be possible to get it to work on stock fendered e30's......btw...Id sell the 8's as well!

I love sitting down and just driving!

Thanks for clearing that up. I really had no idea.

              Here's a pic from when I ran them with 225 R-comps
The only rubbing occurred at full lock up front on my GC Coilovers at low height setting

                  My apologies, typo.
                  They're +22's and the one I replaced is a +12
