That is WAY too much to pay for shipping btw. I have shipped wheels with tires to San Diego from Sarasota for < $140. That was including the box with spacers and lugs. I don't know how heavy these wheels are but they can't be more than what I shipped.

It's 5 wheels, not 4. Since you paid $35 each with tires, it would have been $175 to ship 5 of them. New York is also further away than Sarasota, so that would offset the additional weight of the tires.

I'm all for someone sourcing their own shipping if they think they can beat UPS, but I have a UPS account that gives me 30% off of open rates and the numbers I quoted were right from the website. As I said, I shipped 4 wheels with tires to Tavern Gnome for under $100 a couple months ago. I'm sure he can tell you I didn't make a dime on shipping.

Just so you know, I WAS NOT questioning the price at all. I just thought it was expensive, and not worth it. I understand how much a pain in the ass it is to ship something so large, so if you can hook up with someone local and save both of you time and money... by all means. I wasn't trying to take pot shots at you at all.
