So what you're saying is if I completely redesigned the e30's suspension and came up with something totally different but used shitty/unsafe products that it would be perfectly okay and safe because it involved more thought. I love your mindset. As far as expense goes... I don't think you know what you're talking about.

Listen. To adapt wheels from one car to another, and get the stance spot on, is not a simple thing. It's much easier to just be a sheep and buy the same stuff as everyone else. Who cares if its safe? He doesn't, I don't. I know a ton of people running crazy ass adapter setups that have never had an issue. You obviously don't get it. This isn't about him achieving the pinnacle of handling, he just wanted the car housed on some porsche wheels.

Some people choose function over form, some people choose form over function. I'm a fan of both when done properly.

You've got a lot to work out in the form department. It's okay though. Some of us are right-brained creative types, and some of us are left-brained numbers types. It's not your fault, slappy. Just keep doing what everyone else does and you might just luck out.
