Ummm, no. Even though I usually don't go for 17's, they would go on my car still. Just with vastly more rolled/probably slightly pulled fenders.

Yes, they were re-drilled. Apparantly, by a reputible wheel specialist back in '94.

Seems legit and safe since it's been 14 years.
Please allow me to clarify, that they are filled and drilled by the original trend setting shop of its day, Wheel Specialists in so-cal. These guys have been in the business of doing this since most of us were in diapers. They have never cracked, leaked or otherwise. If you look at the mounting pad from the back, there is NO trace of a weld mark or any deformation/discoloration. The only evidence (From INSIDE the caps) is of the 5x120 holes being filled in, then painted to match the OEM finish of the wheel in 1994.

FWIW, all the caps and logos still shine bright, although two logos have started to "kinda split" under the plastic coating, NO PEELING or weathering.

Man, i want these soo bad.

Try finding a picture of an E30 with these on. Damn near impossible. Only ones i've seen are on an E30 M3 OR the E30 on MK's own website.

Will they really require that much work?

Sale pending ! However, no money has been sent yet.

Approximate shipping costs to most points on the west coast is $96.86, fully insured. That price prolly only applies to Cali and Oregon/Washington State.
