    FT: 15" BBS RM's (2-piece)

    Not sure if I want to use these on my E30 or not, so I figured I'd see if anyone was interested in a trade. Stock 15x6.5 et33 BBS RM two-piece wheels (4x100.) Standard on '91-'92 16v GTi's, and use the same bolt pattern as RS's and several other multi-piece BBS wheels. Good overall shape, original, no bends/cracks in barrels. Stock .5" inverted lips have some rash/clear peel, but most likely would be swapped out for other lips anyway. All 4 centercaps intact.

    I'll have to get some pictures tomorrow. Here's a pic of them without the centercaps, getting cleaned up (2 clean, 2 obviously filthy.)

    What I'm looking for: Something relatively unique, 15" preferred. May consider a 16" wheel if it's light enough, but would much rather stay with 15's.

    Pics from today;

    Wheel 1;

    Wheel 1 barrel;

    Wheel 1 damage;

    Wheel 2;

    Wheel 2 barrel;

    No damage/scuffs/etc to the face of wheel 2.

    Wheel 3;

    Wheel 3 barrel;

    Wheel 3 damage;

    Wheel 4;

    Wheel 4 backside (I ran out of wheel acid);

    Wheel 4 damage;

    All 4 wheels balance out as they are, and hold air. I don't think they've ever been apart, but I can't confirm that.

        You've got two pretty obvious bends. I pointed them out for you.

            Thanks chief, but if you read the original post, you'll see I specified there are no bends in the barrels, and the lips are obviously a bit rough. Not many people run the original inverted .5" lips anymore, so for most, it's a non-issue. ;)

              Guys, I can't say this enough.

              READ THE THREAD.

              The wheels are up for TRADE; not for outright sale.

                If you're not going to post a price, just put these toilets in "Random Crap For Sale" section. Every trade has a cash value.

                  Hey Bunny,
                  Nice work with the clean up. What type of acid did you use? Did you see any actual damage to the clear coat from using the acid?

                    I used "Aluminum Brightener" from NAPA. Works very well, and doesn't seem to harm any finish I've used it on. To get the best results, spray it on dry wheels, let it sit for a few minutes, then just lightly scrub with whatever you want; I used a toothbrush for the spoked areas, and a scotchbrite pad for the barrels. Spray another coat of the acid on, then wash it off with water. Done!

                      I'm not posting a price, because I'm not interested in selling them for any reasonable amount of money. Only interested in trades.
